  1. I have red wrigglers in my kitchen. I keep them in a rubber tub with holes drilled every 4″ so they can breathe. They don’t live in dirt. I use newspaper that I put through a shredder and they eat vegetable and fruit scraps. I’ve had them about two years. I started with a little over 100 and now I’ve got 400 or 500 hundred. They make great fertilizer for the garden. And they don’t stink even though you give them rotten food. I learned about them in a class I took in gardening.
