When is the Beehive hairstyle making a comeback?

Beehive Falls are located at the northern end of Grampians National Park. Jennifer and I swung by them at the end of a hike nearby. Though they, like most Australian falls that we saw, don’t put out the volume of water that the falls I’m used to in the Pacific Northwest do (less rainfall, no glacier melt-off), some of them have a gentle beauty. It was late in the day when we arrived at Beehive Falls – almost nightfall (night comes early in July in Victoria) ,so we were were able to enjoy the falls in peace.

Question by other boy: When is the Beehive hairstyle making a comeback?
The 60’s girls had such lovely hairstyles and makeup. Surely it can be done even better now that we have better products. It looks so feminine.
I dont mean a Ratsnest like Amy Winehouse, I mean something like what Lilly Allen had.

  3. I think it looked OK in the 60’s, but Amy winehouse looks like a cat had coughed up a fur ball on her head. If it’s done tastefully it can look nice though.

  6. create a bit of height at the crown with a bit of back combing, some product, and 2 clips. i’d say you want 2 add an inch of height at the most. not LOADS. have your fringe and some othe pieces down. wear it in a ponytail or in a twist, or you can wear your hair down, either straight or with loose waves. this looks best when its a bit messy and when combined with liquid eyeliner with small flicks.

its 60s beehive inspired but not over the top.

  7. hi as a salon owner and stylist, I have been getting more and more requests for the beehive the proper one as you point out
and I really enjoy doing them, I set the hair on large rollers
then start the beehive a lot of teasing is needed to get it right
but the answer yes the beehive is back, and I get asked to do a lot of 60’s styles now as well, they are all making a big comeback, take the updo not only for weddings now, I had to re invest in hairdryers to cope with the demand for these styles, and your right if done proper they can be stunning
