  2. What is it that they teach in math class now? Back in the days when WE had to walk 10 miles through 2 foot of snow up hill, “BOTH WAYS” to go to School they taught us the way of saying the formula in the way to “SAY the fraction of seventeen-thirtyseconds by calling it seventeen-divided by-thirtytwo.

    By the way, Shoes had not been invented yet, and summer vacation was so we could plow the fields by hand and work from dawn till dusk growing our food for the year. We might sneak off for a 1/2 hour swim at the noon meal. This is also when we were getting up at 3:30 in the morning to milk the cows and the goats, and we made our own butter with a bit of Sea-Salt and a whole lot of work! and home-made Icecream on the weekends… We raised Bees just to have enough wax for candle making so we could see to milk the cows.
