what scraps exactly do you feed chickens?

Clover feeds some chickens.

Question by : what scraps exactly do you feed chickens?
so we got 2 chickens yesterday, one is smaller and more shy than the other. i know we should feed them scraps but can you name the actual thing like banana, strawberries etc? can they eat cold meat like ham or turkey? what about cauliflower, carrots? do they eat oats.. please give me lots of info as im new to this!

  1. chickens eat anything, the only thing they don’t eat are potato scraps, plus i think potato scraps are too starchy to feed them anyway, plus give them oyster shells crushed up fine or by some shell grit (only when they start laying eggs otherwise they will be soft
