  1. In aquaculture you grow , feed and and harvest your own product . Much catfish is done in private ponds.
    Commercial fishing is catching your product from the wild like tuna and swordfish.

  2. Aquaculture is the agriculture of the oceans. Commercial fishing is basically the depletion of all sources of fish, shellfish etc in an area.
