Question by k_erdahl: what happens to the meat quality if i dilute the feed with corn for my broiler chickens?
i think it will be good. corn gives them energy so that way they will not become fatty. that is what i heard. is that true?

  2. Actually corn is high calorie/ low protein so your birds growth rate will plummit WAY down and they will lay on a lotta fat… The meat itself when you trim off the fat will be OK. If you want lean birds up protein & drop energy- but be careful hyping the growth too fast can lead to ricketlike problems.
