This is the first full model of the Aquaponics system that we will be building at Greensgrow Farms. Constantly evolving, I’m sure if won’t look like this for long.

Question by Afroman: What fish can i stock in my 275 litre freshwater aquaponics tank?
I would like lowish maintenance fish/crustaceans preferably native Australian fish not goldfish and in my area i can’t keep koi carp. My ph can be changed depending on the fish, but my temperature range is quite variable 7-25 degrees Celsius thanks for reading my question hope you can offer some good advice.

  1. crayfish are always fun crustaceans…but they like to kill everything around them. my favourite fish are dojo loaches, they are very interesting and very tough, and they live for a long time :). they are quite low maintenance also.
