Question by Brianna J: What are some of the scientific names of fish raised in aquaculture facilities?

Any kinds of the fish, whether they are raised for food or to be pets is mainly what I’m looking for.

    Blue Tilapia, Oreochromis aureus
    Nile Tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus
    Channel catfish, Ictalurus punctatus
    Hybrid Striped Bass, Morone saxatilisxMorone chrysops
    Rainbow trout, Oncorhynchus mykiss
    Atlantic Salmon, Salmo salar
    Common Carp, Cyprinus carpio

    Some common aquarium fish:

    Koi, Cyprinus carpio(domesticated)
    Goldfish, Carassius auratus
    Rosey red minnow, Pimephales promelas
    Guppy, Poecilia reticulata
