Turkey Update

This Tom is getting too big for our oven, so this weekend he is BBQ turkey. I will let you know how big he dresses out to. He’s a big guy we raised from a chick. Raising turkeys was pretty easy but boy do they eat a lot .

Tom dressed out to 18lbs, he was three months old and “broad breasted white” turkey breed. We rotisserie’d him in the BBQ and took about 3 and a half hours. I be remembering him for at least two weeks 🙂
