  1. Using the trickle irrigation with tomatoes - which ever method you use really – in the height of the growing season feed your tomatoes weekly. If, for example, you have a water bag trickle system, no matter how many times you fill it – add feed once a week. Tomatoes are hungry plants and need lots of nutrients, use tomato feed at the right concentration ( read the bottle). Do this as soon as you see tomatoes on the plant!
