An urban version of square foot gardening in Budapest. It’s the same concept practiced around the remaining streets in a downtown Budapest street.

Question by Michelle: Square Foot Gardening: What do you use for the 1-foot grids?
I have a 4×8-foot garden. I like the idea of using old window blinds but unable to do in 8-foot length. Any suggestions? Also just the idea of what people use by recycling items around the house or if dumpster diving.
yes, it is wood. book said that string would not last long, but I am considering it any way. Could always replace.

  1. if the outside frame is wood, why not just put nails every foot and use string to make the grid.
