should i raise meat goats?

Question by : should i raise meat goats?
i am in high school, and for FFA i was thinking about raising meat goats for the county fair next year. i already have pygmy mix goats as pets. i was just wondering if raising meat goats is much different, what time of year we would have to get them to start raising, any specific breads better then others, anything to look for when choosing, how much profit, and other basic information. i would appreciate any help i can get, thank you very much!
