Question by benjoallen: raising ducks?
i just found a baby duck and i don’t know what to feed it. its too late to go to a feed store does anybody know what i can use till i can get to a store?

  1. In an emergency dry breakfast cereal like corn flake and clean water. Crushed bisquits without chocolate may do. If you have any hamster food or wild bird mixed seeds this could also substitute. Do not give too much plain white bread as this may cause problems swelling in the gut.
    Good luck with raising this stray.

  4. When you DO get to the store, make sure NOT to get any kind of medicated feed. Check the labels; most chick feeds are for chickens and have medications that are poisonous to ducks. Look for unmedicated game bird starter feeds.
