Polytunnel Construction – Covering with a Base Rail

Base Rails are used in conjunction with anchor or base plates and are run around the entire Polytunnel framework. The polythene is then attached to the base rails and the height of the rail is adjusted to achieve a skin tight cover and a much easier option than re-trenching each time you replace a cover. 1. Hi halleysmommy
If you are on a tight budget then an alternative would be to source the timber yourself and purchase just the specialist clamps. Thanks for the postive comments.

  2. My goodness this is a brilliant system, but I fear it’s out of my non-luxurious budget. 🙂
