Shows planting watermelon and corn where weed barrier has been for a year to remove weeds between trees in our orchard. This is one ofmany videos that will follow the gardening season chronologically in Kansas City. We hope that people can follow along and work in their own gardens. Organotill features organic no-till methods.

  2. @jujutubes I don’t know where you are but there is enough summer left here to do a pretty good job killing the bermuda grass.

  3. @organotill Hmph ya see I was going to make our garden into a no-till lasagna style garden at the end of this growing season and let it “cook” until it’s time to plant next year using cardboard as my first layer, but if cardboard will kill the grass then I think that’s another option I should be thinking about. Just kill the grass using cardboard and that way I won’t have to worry about slugs that seem to love the lasagna gardens or so I’ve heard. Thanks 🙂
