Yeah… If P.E.T.A. had their way… Honey would be outlawed…

Natural bee Numbers are not enough to pollinate all of our food crops so there are companies that breed bees and “Rent” hives to farmers that don’t have enough bees to pollinate their crops or don’t have the room to raise their own bees.

So if we ban the “Enslavement” of bees for honey, which is a byproduct of the bee-industry… That means that our food crops won’t be pollinated so there won’t half as many vegetables grown in the US and in the world in general…

Then you add in the “Organic” element… If we switch to 100% organic farming, we will only be able to feed approximately 4 billion people. There are currently 6.7 billion people on earth right now.

So if we can’t grow food and use bees…

If we can’t grow food with modern agriculture methods and must go all organic…

We will only be able to feed HALF of the people on earth…

  1. MAybe some chunky non celebrity can get naked and have some stupid tag line (rather go naked than wear fur) OR and this the one I am rooting for-they can get that same “celebrity” to go naked into an abandoned house full of killer Americanized bees. 🙂
PETA area Nazi organization. And a brain washing cult. Losers who can’t get laid.

  3. I think your question is very interesting and that you’ve brought up a very valid point. Although I have to admit that I’ve never given this much thought as I do not take PETA seriously. I do not believe in being cruel to animals, but I do believe in the progression of the human species.

I do not doubt PETA’s good intentions, but as the old saying goes, ‘The road to hell is paved with good intentions’.

I personally think that my pets are better off domesticated as they were born and raised in domestication. I hardly believe that good could come out of letting all of our pets out into the wild. They’d have no idea how to survive and we’d have a bunch of strays, possibly diseased and ravenous with hunger running about. Well, then PETA could save them and offer themselves up as food.

Perhaps the dear people at PETA could offer themselves as test subjects when it comes to testing cures and medications for AIDS/HIV, cancer, alzheimers etc…

The world shouldn’t have to starve because PETA wants to ‘FREE THE BEES!’
