  1. Agriculture isn’t everything. If you want to survive the harsh Winter, it’s best advised to preserve your Forest Lot. Kinda like Cows, but not so much owned. Just like the next season. lol!

  2. Potatoes and tomatoes (and all Solanaceous crops) are from the New World (ie: the Western Hemisphere). They were introduced to Europe in the late 16th century. In fact, the guy that brought Tomatoes to Europe had to travel around eating the red fruit in front of people to prove that they weren’t poisonous.

    There’s also really only 5 centers of crop plant origins, although some people expand this (such as wikipedia…see the sources) Almost all plants come from these 5 centers of origins.
