The Simple Stuff in this product:
Saponified oil (coconut, palm, castor and safflower), glycerin, pure liquid goat’s milk, filtered water, sorbitol (a humectant derived from berries), sorbitan oleate (an emulsifying agent taken from sorbitol), soy bean protein, and essential oils (for fragrance)

Question by Melissa: My son is allergic to milk, egg whites, soybean, peanuts, cod fish, and wheat. What can he eat?
My son will be 3 in July. I already knew he was allergic to milk. He was just tested and now I know he has other food allergies. He’s even allergic to cat & dog dander (not unusual) and cockroaches (unusual to me). What am I suppose to feed him? I can’t find goats milk, where am I suppose to look? Obviously a farm, but there are a lot of farms, where do I go and what am I suppose to feed him?

  2. You can buy goats milk at your local food market. usually organic stores have the best. I buy it powdered at Sprouts and my mom buys it liquid at Fry’s. It should be in a white or purple carton. hope this helps! and my friend is allergic to some of those things. he eats gluten free stuff. like from Trader Joes or Whole Foods. I would try there!

  4. Soya milk should be readily available in supermarkets. Some big supermarkets stock goats milk. Phone the farms and ask them if they have goats milk. You just have to check labels on any food you buy.
Cockroaches? Why would you want to feed him them anyway? Haven’t a cluse what cat and dog ‘dander’ is but I am sure you don’t have to feed him that either.

  5. Look thru the phone book.

This summer when the farmers markets are popular ask around for people that sell goats milk.

Ask your dietician to recomend a gotas milk supplier.

Do a lot of vegan type stuff.

Drink almond milk, better than soy-since to much soy can lead to yet another alergy.

There is also almond cheese that is very yummy.

You are going to have to try other grains. There is pasta made with corn, and also quinoa seeds. Look in the health food section of your store or even in health food stores in general.

The fish is not a bug deal but you are just going to have to read package labels and ask more question when you shop, or go out to eat if you like fish.

Make your own fish sticks with pretty much any other fish. Halibut is good for that as are other types of white fish.

Use limited yolk, and egg replacers. What about if he ate differnt types of eggs, Say such as duck eggs, or even quail instead of chicken eggs.

  6. Goat Milk can be found in specialty foods sections canned like the evaporated milks. Talk to the store manager about it.

Call the County Extension Office and see where to find a goat milk farm or a sheep milk farm. Yeah! they do milk sheep too!

Other than that be a very intelligent label reader! Learn all the terms they use for milk and wheat especially. Eggs, soybean, peanut, and the fish are usually pretty straight forward in the labeling.

There are beef, lamb, other flours like oat flour, rice flour, barley flour, other nuts you can make into spreads for his barley flour or rice flour tortillas. There are loads of fruits and vegetables he can eat. Just read the ingredients lists on each packaged product.

My sister and I experimented making tortillas out of oat, rice and barley flours when her son turned up highly allergic to milk, eggs and wheat! Just substitute the other flours for wheat flours. It works for all unleavened breads!!

Put some cashews in the food processor and chop them fine. Add a tiny bit of vegetable oil or olive oil and puree them. Store in sealed container in fridge! You can add honey if you like to that to make it a sweet treat for him.

  7. Maybe egg substitute? Lot’s of veggies, Fruit, Home grown herbs, He can have all other fish, Any other seafood like shrimp, crabs, Home made candy, Might could find a recipe that doesn’t have wheat nor egg whites and maybe use egg sub. and make him some home made bread in a bread maker. That’s a start…
