Question by Billy: Is it possible to have an allegy to some dairy foods but not others?
… eg have an allegy to cows milk but not goats milk… i just wondered because i think i might have an allegy to some types of diary, but i don’t want to give it up altogether… just wondered if this is possible

  1. they have a different chemistry ,this is why you are only allergic to certain things

  2. My son has a cows milk allergy and drinks goats milk. Goat’s milk contains only trace amounts of an allergenic casein protein, alpha-S1, found in cow’s milk. Goat’s milk casein is more similar to human milk.

  3. It is possible. Some people can’t drink milk, but are ok with cheese. This is because of the lactose enzyme in the milk, in cheese it is not present.
