Question by crownliftman: Is it OK to put cat poop and litter in my worm bed?
I do worm composting and am tempted to scoop the nasty out of my cat’s litter box into my worm food bucket but I am not sure if that is a good idea or not. Is there anything in cat poop or cat litter that would be bad for my worms and make my worm castings less desirable?

  1. I would advise against doing that. Never use poop that comes from an animal that eats meat. That is the rule for composting and would apply to worm growing.
