  1. you would have to fence your property pretty well to keep the wild deer and turkeys out

  2. Yes, you should be able to hunt them out of season, however I think it MIGHT require some kind of permit. I would contact your local game commission office and find out more details about doing this. It would be the best thing to do. Good luck.

  3. Most states you can raise deer that are not typical game animals established in your state. You are responsible for them just like cows and horses and that may require certain fence rules.

  4. It is generally illegal to keep captive and raise native deer such as Whitetail, Mule, or Blacktail. You can raise exotic deer such as Pere David’s or Axis deer and keep them for hunting.
