everywhere you turn in santa cruz, you see ads for hydroponics places… i wonder why?
Question by bb: hydroponics?
wanting to do a small hydroponics garden for my first grader and i cant find a store to buy the mediums or the fertilizer can somebody please help… I do not want to buy online or guess really i cant lol no credit card.I am planning on using an ebb and flow system with tomato plants

You should be able to contact the company and make arrangements for them to ship once they have received a money order from you. Otherwise, unless there’s a hydroponics store in a city near you, you’re pretty much out of luck.

You can get bags of lava rock to use from Home Depot for $ 3-4 for a 1/2 cubic ft bag. Put it in a pot. There is great book called How to Grow Fresh Air that has more details in it. You could use a liquid fertilizer. I don’t know about the ebb and flow systems.
