Question by νєяѕα νυℓтυяє: How to start a worm farm?
I have a baby garter snake and i’ve been feeding her worms. But since it’s gotten so cold, it’s been nearly impossible to catch worms for her. I was reading about worm farms and would like to start one so I could easily find food for my snake and possibly use the soil in the spring for flowers.

So, I was wondering what supplies do you need to start a worm farm?
-I have a 10-gallon aquarium I am going to put them in.
How much dirt? and what else needs to be put in there?

  1. I found that rabbit manure and dirt is almost a haven for worms. My brother said that a thin layer of compost at the top and moisture keeps worms happy as well.
