I’ve raised chicks before but new to ducklings. Any info about them would be wonderful. Thankyou.

  1. Within 24 hours of hatching, the mother duck should march her babies to the water. Sometimes, she will take them as much as a mile away from shere they hatched. Wild ducklings will always stay with the mother because they stay in the flock they were born into. Ducklings are self-sufficient after about 12 weeks If you have water (pond, lake, stream) on your property, the ducks could stick around until autumn.
