Here you can see a small amount of water vapor rising from the holes. When complete, no vapor should escape the system.

  1. There is no single method of hydroponics. All you need is water and a way to keep it from becoming de-oxygenated. I use aquarium air pumps in my setup, a misting water pump, and an enclosed plasic reservoir. You also need to add pure nutrients into the water and have a way to keep algae from forming (algae is the weeds in hydro gardening).

Check out hydroponic on wikipedia for all your other research.

  2. Hydroponic is the method of growing plants without soil.A soil free medium is used in hydroponic systems to keep the plant in place. these mediums like stones, sand or fiber enable the absorption of air and water which is required for plants growth. In hydroponic systems, nutrition is directed towards the root of the plant because of that no need for the plant to expend its energy in developing long roots. As long as they are exposed to light, hydroponic plants will flourish.

There are different hydroponics systems like Aeroponic, Drip System, Ebb and Flow System, Wick system etc….
