Home canning Ball Jar Canning Lids – not sealing NEW BOX

This season, I first noticed a problem with the new Ball jar lids (silver) after 4 jars out of 4 batches didn’t seal. After opening new boxes, and comparing things to the older gold colored seals, i noticed that the “pop” the lid usually makes, is barely there, or doesn’t exist!! This is compromising our food safety. Ball Jar no longer manufactures canning supplies. Jarden Home Products distributes under the Ball name. Where are these made? There’s a fuzzy Made in the USA on the front, but i’m suspect. Maybe the box was made in the USA.. The older boxes with gold lids hada red white and blue big flag with made in the USA. I am going to be VERY cautious with this product if i use it at all. Home preserving requires skill, knowledge to safely produce food for us.
