I didn’t see you add any lemon juice or vinegar. The Nat’l Center for Home Food Preservation’s website mentions that.
Go to wwwDOTugaDOTedu.
You need to add the correct amount of acid to safely can. They EMPHASIZE the need to do this for tomatoes.
Also you didn’t wipe the rims of the jars to ensure a proper seal.
Its important that if you’re showing people how to can, that you show the safe way. I just started canning and I’m glad I did NOT watch this video!
