in georgia its easy to grow watermelons because it rains so much and its so hot ive been growing a watermelon since june19 and now its july 5 and i already got a watermelon
Hi ! so what happened with the melons ?
Last year i tried to grow some watermelons, but wasnt a huge success.The melons stayed too small…lack of water in the early phase I guess.
omg that a brilliant idea putting a can of soda.. I never thought of that when my watermelon plant started to bloom the flowers but it still growing with flowers and i have some of the watermelon about 1 week n half days old now..thank you for you idea for the pollination

I live in AZ too. Do you have a high clay content? My soil is like 100% clay when you sift the rocks out. Its very problematic.

Your watermelons are planted WAY too close together. In a bed of that size I wouldn’t plant more than 2 or 3 watermelon seedlings at the most.

Thinking of doing a container garden with some watermelon…Will definately try the soda can trick.
