Question by Ragav: do broiler chickens in poultry mate with roasters to produce eggs ?
I heard from somewhere that the broiler chickens in poultry do not need mating in order to lay eggs..it seems they lay eggs by their own..is it true?

  1. All hens are capable of laying eggs without roosters. The roosters are only needed to make chicks.
