Friend sent me a link to an MPR interview she was part of and I saw her op-ed piece in the Strib last week. Quite an amazing young woman, perceptive, bright, and spot on. Nice to see, and hear. Still thinking – but this may be the first hiphop purchase I’ve ever made. :^)

been listening to doomtree for over 6 years.
people think im weird cause i love her stuff and them.
they are obviously typical americans who prefer dull simple things so their brain can comprehend it and relate to it.

Just saw Dessa live a few hours ago. Definitely the best Dessa show I’ve ever seen. Such power and emotion. The new renditions are amazing.
