Question by A2Z: Can i own a rooster and chickens in my backyard?
Is it legal for me to own a rooster and chickens in my backyard. I live in Glendale,Arizona I cant find any legal stuff about this on the internet please help thank you kindly

  2. If you’re in a rural area, likely yes. If you’re in suburbs or city, likely no. Some suburbs in the USA are letting people keep chickens, but the roosters are generally still illegal to keep in all but multiple-acre farm settings. Despite any preconceptions, they actually tend to crow at very inconvenient times (like 4 am) and wake up owners and neighbors alike with the ruckus.

    You’ll have locations where your township and city areas are managed, and it’s best to find their numbers, call and ask.
