Question by Seamus: Can any one tell me if you can grow plums in New Hampshire?
Can any one tell me if you can grow plums in New Hampshire? If so, what variates? I am looking to grow it espirela if I can.
I am also wondering about what are some good, strong, hardy chickens(layers)for New Hampshire?
Has any one ever raised bees in NH?
If ya can give me some basic feedback on any of this I would be thank full!
And how long and how wide must a Constructed Wetlands Waste Water Treatment(Open)be in New Hampshire?

  1. Plums= Yes, check at your local nursery. They should generally be good well into USDA zone 3.
    Chickens= Yes, check at your local farm store. Drive any direction about 10 minutes and see what kind your neighbors have…start with that kind.
    Bees= Yes, there are bees in N.H. Look locally or on-line for “Bee Keepers, or apiary supply”.

    WWT= No idea, but your County/township/parish/city building department can give you all the applicable codes and requirements as they will be the ones to issue and close the permit anyway.
