When you bottle feed through the top, what is that insert on top of the hive that accepts the bottle top… looks like it is raised a bit on the top too so that rain cant go in the hive

Normally bee videos are bad for me… but bees and yellowjackets at the same time without any protective gear is giving me twitches to think about. I’m not saying you’re stupid or anything, it just triggers my phobia, I guess

@JohannsGarden Yes stevia i wrote uncorrectly! Why wouldnt it provide all food needs of honey bees? Is it becouse of certain minerals missing or something like that? And additional question; would sugarcane syrup satisfy food needs like sugar beet syrup?

This looks pretty dangerous. I mean I understand having no fear of bees but this looks like it would put some people at risk of getting sent to a hospital (if they do it without protective clothing).
Still good video and nice idea, quite creative.

I wish I saw your video BEFORE I hived my bees. I bought this entrance feeder from the co. I bought my beehive. It’s not very practical at all. I’ve had alot of trouble with it.
