Backyard Wind Power

Some homeowners are installing wind turbines in their backyards. These windmills are connected to the grid, and deliver renewable, green energy to the owner’s home. MarketWatch’s Stacey Delo talks with San Francisco homeowner Robin Wilson about putting in a wind turbine in an urban area. Video originally aired October 8, 2008. 2. @Scattnam Wind is not 100% useless if used right. Solar is the future as it contiues to be R&D. I think it’s cool these people put one in their backyard. We had solar panels in my childhood home because we lived in Vegas where it is sunny 90% of the year so it made sense. They live in a windy place so that makes sense.

  4. @Scattnam Liberal is the same as Conservative; it’s called a 2 party dictatorship. They pit us aginst eachother in a game of political correctness. I urge you to look into what I say. Everything you know is a lie friend. Choose your battles and don’t let them choose you. You attack your neighbor online then what neighbor are you friend? We are all entitled to God given right’s. Wake up and see truth not lies.

  8. I don’t think we have enough wind here in Tennessee. I would install one if we did, and we don’t have enough rich liberals around here to complain about them.
