Question by Susan J: A stray cat I found is leaving small, brown, worm-shaped things on her bed when she sleeps.What could they be?
The things are not alive as far as I know. They are brownish red, very tiny, probably less than 1/32 of an inch long and have a worm-like shape. I am finding them curled up, almost as if they have died. It falls off of the cat when she sleeps and when she gets up, 10-15 can be found left wherever she was laying. It seems as if they might be coming from her butt since they are always found where her rear end was laying. I have given her a bath and sprayed her with flea medicine and do not know what it is.
