  4. Dude try using opaque houses and opaque pipes, that will help with the
algae. any light on the solution will grow algae. I was wondering what are
u doing with the solution after using it in the system??? I Hope ur not
destroying all the water with algae around ur houses.. peace

  15. Very cool! I love your creativity and I like how you always push the edge
of the hydroponic envelope! It will be very interesting to follow along
this project! Are you pumping with AC or DC?

  16. There are no fertilizers in the top-off barrel and as a result no algae
grew, I also don’t expect algae to grow in my air lines. The old nutrient
mix is taken to a toxic chemical disposal unit near my home where it is
disposed of through and environmentally friendly incineration process, this
process has no emissions and no harmful byproducts. Actually I just feed it
to my lawn, trees and shrubs they love it.

OK, I just watched your video. I did the exact same thing 6 wks ago with
cucumbers and just didn’t think it was going to work after 2 weeks. Too
difficult to keep clean water unless you keep adding H2O2 every 4-5 days.
You got me excited about the Giant Pumpkin think and I’ve planted 3 seeds,
    we’ll see.

would like to be able to have something for then… If it even grows. I
have a feeling I should have started this a month sooner 😉
