Aiden was tormenting the chickens. He was feeding them blades of grass and they were eating it. He got bit a ton of times and still did it 🙂

Question by Dog Lover: how much feed does a chicken eat in its lifetime?
How many pounds/Kgs of feed does a single chicken (broiler) consume on average in its lifetime?
what about the type that lays eggs?

  3. I have about 35 chickens. We go through 20lbs of food every 2-3 weeks, but they eat scraps too and free range. And the goat has been known to steal some of their food.
Chickens live about ten years. It’s hard to tell for sure because you keep getting new ones each year and some of the older ones get picked off by coyotes.
