Found this guy in the parking lot at the vet today. I was afraid he was going to get hurt so I relocated him back to the flower bed. He was the coolest worm I’ve ever seen and actually quite large! (Straight out of the camera, not even a crop!)

I think it’s a Tersa Sphinx caterpillar: www.duke.edu/~jspippen/naturephotos/tersa-sphinx.htm

Also, that’s not really an eye.

Question by B G: Do grub worms eat night crawlers?
I had a worm bed with no way for them to escape. I fed them good and then decided to check on them today and they were all gone. I did find four small grubworms in the box. Do you think they ate the worms. What else could have possibly happened to them. Not a one of them left.
