cover crops for horse pasture?

I planted the following cover crop mix:

40% Bell Beans, 20% Magnus or BioMaster Winter Peas, 15% Lana Vetch, 15% Purple Vetch,10% Cayuse Oats.

what’s a good winter/fall cover crop for horse pastures? i’m looking for something i can just spread and let grow. I’m not looking to harvest, i just need something for my horses to eat. I live in the southeast and need something that grows well in a mild winter. I’m planning on planting rye and crimson clover, but need something for this fall and the rest of winter. Thanks!
