Why do my goats walk into the manure and stand still as they sink until they have sunk under?

Question by : Why do my goats walk into the manure and stand still as they sink until they have sunk under?
This happens at our dairy farm above grou nd manure pit.

  2. Do they have toys? Goats love to play and climb, so if the manure pile is the highest point in their pasture, that might be where they go to get a vantage point.

    If you don’t already, I would put some better climbing things in their pen, such as picnic tables, plastic children’s furniture, or those giant wooden spools that electrical cables usually come on.
