  3. You can. If you live anywhere near a turkey ranch, they sell the “cull” eggs usually locally. We used to buy them from the neighbors when they had the turkey ranch going.

    and i wish i knew
    i know they have
    quail eggs
    and ostrich eggs
    and duck eggs and chicken eggs of course
    but u never hear of turkey eggs
    google it and find out i guess

  5. turkeys don’t lay every day all the time like chickens do.
    The turkeys we raised on the farm would lay eggs, about a dozen or so and then want to nest on them to hatch as they had a strong “broodie” instinct.
    ALSO, turkey meat is more valuable than the eggs are so commercially, chicken eggs are more valuable. Outside of frying up a monster omelet or over easy plate of “egg” there really isn’t any use for them…All recipes needing eggs are based on smaller chicken eggs and figuring out how much turkey egg to use would be a nightmare to novice bakers and experts alike.
    My mother used our turkey eggs as she preferred to buy baby turkeys rather than try to raise with a mother turkey. She made homemade pasta and used them up that way or in a pan of scrambled eggs but there was 6 of us so using up enormous eggs was simple.
