Minnesota’s turkey farmers raised approximately 45 million birds in 2003 and generated nearly $ 600 million in income for producers, processors and other related industries. Minnesota has more than 600 turkey farms.

  5. Washington DC has the most turkeys. but they are not produced there they move there from other states.
