Question by Shayna: Where can I buy goat’s cheese or milk?
Are there any regular supermarkets that have it? I’ve looked in Wal-Mart and some other big retailers but I haven’t seen any. Am I just looking in the wrong spot? I’d imagine it would be by the other cheese and milk, wouldn’t it?

  2. I’m in Canada and I just picked some up today at my local grocery store… if you have a Wal-Mart you are in Canada or the USA… so check it out. Check the deli part of the store….
    good luck.

  4. Regular grocery stores should have one or two variations of it.
A place like Wal-Mart that specializes in low-cost, lower-quality products probably won’t carry it as it is a slightly more expensive, higher grade product. Since it must be constantly refridgerated, I think you will find it in the dairy section, maybe not necessarily with the regular milk but in the refrigerated section anyways. Very unlikely that it would be stored with the natural foods, unless they have a cooler there.
Also, many natural or organic stores will carry it as it is said to be healthier than pasteurized milk.

  5. Avoid Wal-Mart, Target or other “big retailers” … you need to go to a small, organic grocery store or an upscale grocery chain. I have seen goat’s milk and many different kinds of goat cheese at Whole Foods, if you’re close to one of those.

  6. There aren’t a lot of grade A dairies suppling fluid goat milk so you might not be able to find any though larger upscale groceries more often carry it.
Goat cheese should be almost everywhere, often in the deli or wherever they put the more exotic food. Goat cheese can also be gotten off the internet. Check Localharvest.com and search for goat cheese.
