  2. Well budgies would be the easiest. They are small in size and don’t cause as much mess as bourke’s and cockatiels. Make sure you buy a young budgie, with shiny eyes, and vibrant colors. Getting a young one and spending time with it frequently usually makes them a well behaved parakeet when they become an adult. They are not much. They are only around $ 18. Don’t mix 2 females together because they might get aggressive. Parakeets with brown cere (nose) are females.Parakeets with blue.purple ceres are males. When parakeets are young its hard to determine their gender. So basically parakeets are the easiest ones to handle. They are small, family friends, not expensive at all, and great singers. Here’s some tips on caring for a budgie if you decide to get one. Good Luck with whichever one you choose =)
