One Response to what kind of questions do judges ask in a goat showmanship class?

  1. It depends on how old you are.

    8 & under:
Know your goats name & age.
Know how to walk your goat in a circle
    (I miss those days!)
    9 through 13:
Know the parts of a dairy goat
Know your animals age and what you feed
Know how to manuever your goat around the ring
    14 through 19:
Know the parts of the animal
if this is meat goat showmanship:
know random facts about goats(meat goats judges are VERY random)
    Know what you feed
Know the gestation period of a goat
If this is dairy goat shomanship:
    Know the ADGA scorecard
