Question by Melanie: What are The easiest farm animals to keep?
We are moving to a 6 acre farm and we want farm animals, what would be the easiest to keep?
We already have
Chickens

And we are getting a dog 🙂

  3. I was going to say geese and goats but people already suggested those.

So here’s my plan B. Two species that are even easier to keep, rats and cockroaches. In fact once you have them they’re not easy to get rid of!

(No, really, geese and goats. Hamsters are pretty easy to take care of. And yeah, every farm has to have at least one dog.)

  5. If you want easy, no livestock.

    Stick to poultry.

Pigs, Cows, Sheep, Goats, Horses, etc. require hay, cleaning, food, fencing, and so forth.

Be sure that you guys have protection from foxes for your birdies, too. 🙂
