Hi I am looking for a suitable topic relating to solar power for my MSc. thesis of Electrical Power Systems…Plz guide me for the topic in which there is a bigger room for research.. Thanx for your help

  2. There is a PRIME example, begging for research in South Africa. It carries a big benefit in the sense that it would also help the local populace, and the power grid in this country is crying out for Solar energy – especially because of the wealth of Sunny days. There is an area in the Northern Cape province, around Upington, which has the most sunlight per 24 hours in the world. Being open countryside, it is custom-made for massive, and many solar panels to be fed into the grid. Also, because of Coal-fired Power stations,and other factors, South Africa is the 5th worst polluted country in the world in some areas. That alone is a case for Solar energy. Plenty of material for you to get into for your dissertation!

  3. This is a difficult one. Many people think that solar power is the answer. However, it is extremely costly and not ready for full use, except for small applications like boats, heating water, and supplementing a home. In addition to solar power, one would need to also reduce ones power needs.
