This picture was taken at the Oregon Zoo at their farm animal exhibit. What you see is known as a pygora goat, a cross between a pygmy and a angora goat. They were first bred in here in Oregon by Katharine Jorgensen of Oregon City for their desirable qualities of silky, long hair.

Question by Tomas: Raw Goat Milk in London?
Hi there,
I would like to get some raw goat milk.
I have googled it but can’t find any in London.
It seems to be very hard to find.
Does anyone know where I could buy it? (in London)
(local market, health shop etc.)
Many thanx,
t.

  2. Raw milk is not illegal but many producers would be reluctant to sell it due to possible health liabilities to the sick, old and young. Try contacting a goat farm directly and ask them.
