  1. love your video, what an amazing project and transformation:) have you
    thought about turning some of the cinder blocks on their side to grow
    vertically up the wall , like maybe some strawberry plants in there .. i
    was thinking about doing that this summer 🙂

  3. Yes, and I wouldn’t break up the floor if you are going to make it 2′ tall,
    just leave some voids in the bottom mortar to let out excess water and
    you’ll be fine, the first set of beds that you see in the video 10′ x 20′
    enclosed with chicken wire bed, has a concrete bottom, with no noticeable
    issues associated with it.

  5. Do you know about grafting orange trees. I have an orange tree that my dad
    planted when I was about 10 years old (50 yrs now), so the tree is 40 years
    old or so. I want to sell the property but keep the tree. Can I graft from
    this tree to another tree and get the same oranges? If I could dig up the
    tree I would take it with me, but can’t do that. I know about grafting
    other types of trees but never hear of orange trees being grafted. Thank you

  6. better watch out for the compost cops…don’t get busted.. they don’t like
    you getting in on THEIR leaves… especially if the city provides the
    bags….get busted for stealing their bags 🙂

  7. can i do this raised bed on top of a concrete floor ? and what do I need to
    do to make this work besides breaking the floor
