Is it true chickens can eat onions and eggplant which is in moussaka?

  2. A small portion will not cause harm, but as a general rule its best not to feed cooked human food to chickens. In the U.K. this is actually illegal. Human food probably contains salt, fat and maybe sugar, all of which are bad for chickens as they are fattening and unbalance their diets. Like us, chickens love what is, for them, junk food. If hens get too fat from eating the wrong food, the fat is laid down round their Ovaries and can cause serious or even fatal health problems.
